It is organized by the Arles Exposition association as part of the Rencontres de la photographie d'Arles festival.
The
Arles Expo 2022 Prize aims to support photographic creation through a
financial endowment and the production of series that will be exhibited
during the festival from July 4th to August 28th 2022.
This Prize
also aims to promote the universal dissemination of photographic works
by opening them up to as many creators as possible and to the widest
possible audience.
The Arles Expo 2022 Prize is resolutely focused on
the issues of our world, whether economic, societal or artistic, and is
also intended to be fair: thus, it will guarantee all photographers
their copyright. It will also offer the finalists' exhibitions in the
heart of the cloister of the 5* Hotel Jules Cesar during the entire
Off Festival.
The founding principles of this call for authors
are therefore sharing, emotion but also requirement. Eager to offer an
event worthy of the photographic reputation of the city of Arles, the
organizers of the Arles Exhibition Prize will be particularly attentive
to the quality of the works submitted, as well as their uniqueness.
Creation, sharing, emotion and talent are all promises for a photographic summer in the finest Arles tradition...
- A check for 1.500 €.
- A Fujifilm X-T4 digital camera kit + XF18-55mm lenses worth €1,899.
- The production of the series of 12 photos maximum in Art print laminated on Dibond and framed for a value of 3090 €.
- An exhibition from July 4 to August 28, 2022 in the cloister of the Hotel Jules Cesar in Arles.
- Screening of the series at the "Rencontres de la photographie de Marrakech", which takes place from 17 to 23 October 2022.
- A check for 500 €.
- The 2nd prize will be a Fujifilm Instax Mini Evo.
- The 3rd prize will be a Fujifilm Instax Link Wide printer.
- The production of the series of 10 photos maximum in Art print laminated on Dibond and framed for a value of 2575 €.
- An exhibition from July 4 to August 28, 2022 in the cloister of the Hotel Jules Cesar in Arles.
- Screening of the series at the "Rencontres de la photographie de Marrakech", which takes place from 17 to 23 October 2022.
To participate in the Prix Arles Exposition 2022, each candidate must meet the conditions of the present rules, stipulated below.
- Candidates must be over 18 years of age at the time of sending the application file.
- Pay the participation fee of 30 € per file.
